Why should I put the contrast up, I dont see any noticeable dust spots- should I be checking every photo for unnoticeable dust spots "in case" there may be some hidden ones? please tell me that's not what we've come to here- I know that can't be.

If this is the same guy i've dealt with (md11 check captain), I usually asked him to make some cards for me in return for using my photo/s -there really isn't much money in it for him when it's all said and done so the cards for me worked out great.

The below is well said and true. Both have different purposes and both do what they do as expected. =================================== Even people like Joe Pries are happy with 4fps on a 10D while still shooting with the EOS1VHS. You just have to adapt your shooting habits when switching to digital.
