We will see SAT get TATL service, which is long overdue. Based on what? It's not a particularly large market to any European destination (wasn't in the top 8 unserved markets in the Brookings 2011 study nor the Sabre 2013 numbers), and it's surrounded by relatively new service.... so barring a part...

It won't happen. Austin won't ever be a true hub. Maybe more routes, but it's the same problem as SAT has. Too close to megahubs. I tend to agree. The only reason Northwest started that route was due to connecting traffic... If they couldn't make a B757 work, I doubt Norwegian could.

I think lots of people flying transatlantic would be unhappy if they only had peanuts to eat. None of WN's aircraft are equipped with galleys suitable for serving full hot meals. They would need to start serving meals on some of the their longer flights first before I would consider flying them on ...

Looks like SAT-DAL will be the last Boeing 735 route for Southwest. Fitting it would be on one of the three original routes Southwest started with, the other two being SAT-HOU and HOU-DAL.

I remember LH naming an aircraft after Gander during the 9/11 attacks for their city's hospitality due to forced landings in American airspace. A very nice gesture, since most of Lufthansa's fleet back then were German cities.

Not a big deal... Wasn't the money spent on the first class ticket refunded? If it wasn't refunded then it's a major issue and shame on AA. Would be a very appalling move, one that actually wouldn't surprise me coming from AA.
