I really don't understand the 359s... does the complexity of an additional fleet type really justify the small fleet? Does the revenue from the 30 extra seats that *sometimes* can be filled cover the extra lease costs? For me, they are trying to be too much to too many customers. There is no focus....

The 777-300s have a high degree of automation. Question: Can they be flown indefinitely without any type of software update? As the airspace evolves, both in Russia and out of it, I assume pilots might have to rely less and less on automation and fly on their own.
