Re: Ural Airlines A320 emergency landing in a field in Siberia due to hydraulic problems

It is quite interesting to see that this is the second Ural Airlines Airbus landing in a regular field without any injuries after the Ural Airlines Flight 178 which was an Airbus A321 emergency landed (after birdstrike) in a corn-field back then in 2019. Obviously Ural Airlines' pilots are good at l...

IndiGo flights to Istanbul via Ra'sal-Khaymah

Hi, As an Istanbul based aviation enthusiast, I was checking the flightradar24 app and realised that IndiGo now flies to IST from BOM and DEL via Ra'sal-Khaymah (RKT) using the Airbus A321-271NX (before the pandemic it was only DEL-IST via Doha). To be honest I was not aware of the existence of RKT ...

This shows the lack of president's language skills. What is the next move? Changing the name of the language from being Turkish to the "Language of Türkiye"? The obvious association with Turkey is there but neither with Turk or Turkish. Such a non-sense and waste of time!!!

Re: Brawl on board of Air Caraïbes flight en route from ORY to CAY

The overall experience in airports got annoying lately. It is even worse after Covid. Long quees, rather ridiculous demands by security staff and inflated rates for excess baggage are so common. From the enterance on you find yourself in a situation of either discussion or argument. And it stresses ...

IMHO all those liveries of Lufthansa Group airlines aim to maximise the interchangebility within the group. So, there is nothing to interpret there except the motivation for more integration and saving within the group. Such a shame.

I was suprised to find out that PK8303 was not the first PIA aircraft where pilots forgot to lower the landing gear. It was PK300 in 1986, though. A 747-200 landed on its belly in Islamabad. Thanx god there were no casualties back then. Here is the link: https://aviation-safety.net/database/record.p...

Please correct me, if I am wrong, but as far as I know there is no transparency on the Ukranian side of the whole story at all. It was the Ukranians who didn't release any ATC data from the day of the incident. It was the Ukrainians who fired the Spanish air traffic controller working for the Ukrani...
