I think this issue has been beaten to death. They made a mistake. Move on to bigger and better things. They are already gearing up for summer flights, with less aircraft in their fleet until next winter. Live and learn. Does anyone know how many passengers got stranded?? I'm sure since it was last flight of the season the pax got a good deal. SY may have contacted other carriers, but couldn't "buy" added lift. Remember this storm affected more than just SY. Not only do you need a plane ready, but flight c...

How is SY handling aircraft/crew rotations? With the old model bring MSP (and somewhat DFW) centric, crews and planes were used on turns and day trip missions. Outstation RONs on scheduled trips were rare so hotel, per diem and ground handling costs were minimized. Is this still the case? SY has 27...

For a 35-year-old company, they always seem to hold there own. No matter who owns them. I don't think they will become the next Frontier, Spirit etc. Yes, they will add flights, yes they will be seasonal. They do a brisk charter work for casinos, DOD, and several travel companies.
