RE: Anyone Else Like Films Soundtracks (film Scores)?

I am a die-hard John Williams fan, but I occasionally branch out and listen to some Jerry Goldsmith, or anyone else that captures my attention. -- Seven Years in Tibet (Love the dynamics. While most of Williams' music tends to run on all 8 cylinders, this entire album is laced with soaring themes an...

My girl is a pilot/mechanic, so fancy nails would be impractical. Between the solvent, avgas, and grease, a manicure would not last long. I don't mind one bit. Much better than hearing the minor panic attacks that happen when some girls chip their polish.

At the 20 second mark you can see an old Delta cowling. Could that be from the L1011 that they scrounged other parts from?

I see that plane every day! It's parked here at KGGG. It arrived last week. Last month we had around 7 P-2 Neptunes and 2 Canadairs all taking part in dousing a 50,000 acre fire. Now we just have the 146 and two Neptunes. They have been doing a great job keeping the fires under control here. ---Skyw...

I don't know about the larger birds, but it's usually not a big deal on the 172. The tie-down hook on the 172 is really thick, and if you look at the hooks on training or rental aircraft, the bottom of it will usually be pretty worn down, since it is the first point of contact with the ground if the...

Also bear in mind that the camera was zoomed out to a wider angle than most cockpit videos are filmed from. This will always create an appearance of greater speed. The touchdown was a little rough, but all in all, it looked fine to me.
