KLM operated AMS - VIE - DXB - BKK - TPE at that time (mid-80's 'til early 90's), mostly with 747-300 mixed.

This crazy (IMO) idea of ANA operating these planes specifically to HNL will be interesting to watch. I'm curious as to the schedules and how the plane will affect HNL and the other carriers. They do look pretty nice though. One plane can do HND - HNL - HND well within 24 hrs. So they could scedule...

Did nobody notice, that the left picture (new livery) is overexposed compared with the right picture? Have a look at the dark holes of the windows. On the left picture they are nearly invisible due to the overexposure of the white. May be the left picture was taken with a poor camera or it was phot...

There is/was very realistic alternative. BTS. Why it doesn't work the way it could, is a question for Viennese. Sceduled busses take 1:15 hrs for the journey between VIE and BTS and run with some exceptions every hour. AFAIK FR does offer own bus transport ex VIE (minibusses...?) for some bookings ...

Is there a reason, legal or otherwise, why HG wouldn’t have been retained? Sorry, can't answer this question. But I assume that with the use of OE Lauda wants to underline the Austrian ownership of Laudamotion. He also seems to try to avoid any mixup with other companies he ran, be it NIKI or Lauda...

A fair amount of dislike for the new livery comes IMHO from the way we look at aircraft. Ever so often we watch and photograph them beeing in the air - in front of a blue or white sky.
