I know what CO has. They retired the 741/742 from their fleet in 1996/1997. I was wondering Evergreen could have leased them or bought them and not changed the colours.

I heard them on SoCal Approach last night. I haven't heard anything about them dropping LAX, it and JFK are big for Asiana, it also dropped HNL in 1997 during the Asian economic crisis, could we see that route picked up again by them?

I got to fly on in August on HA OGG-HNL. It was just like a souped up DC-9-50 with a glass cockpit. It was a great flight though and I loved the aircraft.

First of all, pilots would rather nose dive or climb higher than go through clear air turbulence. But I went through some from IAH-SEA on a DC-9, it was pretty rough for a few minutes. I would like to be in a 744 or DC-10-30 that could climb higer and is more versitile and heavier.

Most windsocks relay wind info electronically to ATC. Ever heard "winds are 030 at 15" they get it from windsocks I think.
