Re: Rumour: Alex Cruz & Klaus Goresch leaving BA

They can start with abolishing stupid sh!t like charging J pax £100+ each way for seat selection :irked: This is actually good, as it stops the once a year travellers taking up the good seats. This just seems so wrong. You talk like decent seats are the entitlement of the frequent flyers alone and ...

Re: Rumour: Alex Cruz & Klaus Goresch leaving BA

Cruz leaving would be a major step in the right direction. Enough with the Ryanair stuff, we want our full service flag carrier back. Well I'm not sure the extent of what you're referring to, but if it has anything do with things like being charged £70 to select a seat, then too bloody right. When ...

Resell the seat that has already been sold and paid for; basically, selling their product twice. And the likelihood of selling that seat diminishes considerably the closer you get to the day of travel. But who cares? It's already been sold, revenue has already been pocketed. If the first pax had ne...

Do civil air ensigns get used these days? Only Commonwealth countries mostly seem to have any but even from them, I've never noticed one.

I'm pretty sure that, for example, all UK registered airliners display the national flag.

They did promise to not allow the third runway, so waiting until they go back before the electorate again is the right thing to do even if it annoys us.

However, they could at least give Heathrow mixed mode. It would be a stop gap that would cost very little (some ATC work to accomodate).
