Re: Transferring in Munich

Hi, I'll be connecting through Munich in a few days time (Schengen to Schengen) and was just wondering which terminals I'll be most likely to use. Also, is there any chance that I'll use those remote airbridges on the western apron? Lastly, I have over 2 hours to kill - is there anything worth seei...

Re: Which European flights do TUI use the B787 on?

A FR24 listing of activity by tail number is a lot more structured than that. The last seven days are free. http://www.flightradar24.com/data/aircraft/g-tuij Pull tail numbers from planespotters.net. Ditto that. But it is to be kept in mind, that from late September 2019 on, aircraft allocation mig...

Re: Which Lounge in Frankfurt?

(is the Sky Train completely airside?). No. SkyTrain has two different cars, one open to the public, the other one airside (non-Schengen, IIRC). There should be no additional security check when heading from T1B to Sky Lounge at Terminal 2 using Sky Train. https://poi.frankfurt-airport.com/en/poi/s...

Re: Connecting in Lisbon (realistic transfer time?)

Have you checked the recent on-time performance of your AMS to LIS-leg ?
In case you are looking into the 0700h departure ex Schiphol, TP669 shows quite some variance on FR24 with some arrival-delays of more than one hour, which will render a 1h35-connection a "missed connection".

Re: Do you remove the barcode stickers after each flight?

There is no point in keeping the stickers on the suitcase once received back.
Also, on some types of fabric they leave marks when being removed after having been in place for too long time; hot weather adds to the problem.
So, yeah, I remove them as soon as suitable.

non-Schengen to Schengen transfer. Immigration (passport control) and usually a new security check (central at the two airports in concern).
