The ATP! What a memory scratcher! I flew one once from FWA to ORD when rebooked on UA(ZW) after an AA cancellation. I do seem to recall a fairly spacious interior, and smooth flight. Always wondered why the type did not see more widespread use at the time.

With LHs recent issues I’m not sure they are a good bet. At a minimum I think you would entitled to be comped passes to BAs club each direction.

Yes the some of the residents of Toledo are poor (just like DET, CLE and CHI) but there is alot of money in the Burghs. They are thousands of manufacturing jobs left at JEEP, Big 3 suppliers and Big 3 component and stamping plants, the refineries, Cleveland Cliffs, rail, the docks, agri businesses....

It probably takes longer to get from downtown Chicago to O'Hare in rush hour, than from downtown Toledo to DTW. well, once all the investigations at the site are done, somehow transfer it to a hanger..finish the paperwork for the insurance.Then remove the usable/rotable parts (maybe the engines too??)

I was just perusing flightaware while having lunch and noticed that AA 1495 made a u turn just north of Visalia and headed to SFO. Then Flt Aware indicates the flight is cancelled at SFO.
