Re: The A220 and LCY - JFK (BA001)

I took this once going the other way (JFK-LCY). There's a specific value to this service to the people who take it. Things can go really smoothly when you have at most 32 pax on the plane, and all seasoned travelers. Boarding was super-fast, and we pushed off the gate 25 minutes early since it's eas...

My guesses: IAD-WAW. It's the only major *A hub in Europe not served yet from IAD. IAD-PVG (but is China opening slots?) IAD-ICN (does ICN have capacity?) PRG flights from an UA hub (EWR?) could be interesting if they want to compete with AA's recently-announced expansion in Eastern Europe (more PRG...

Any LOT experts have thoughts on if they will start WAW-IAD? They're the only European Star Alliance airline that flies transatlantic and doesn't serve IAD. Anyone want to give their thoughts on the likelihood of IAD-WAW on LOT? They're now the only European Star Alliance airline that flies to the US but _doesn't_ fly to IAD. Seems like a natural addition.

I think DL's IAD-SEA could be to feed trans-pac flights out of SEA. DL has a lot of capacity out of SEA, and they need to fill it.
