In regards to the pilots not knowing how much distance they have, most airports are REQUIRED to have distance markers off to the side of the runway. They say "1" "2" "3" etc meaning there is only 1,000 feet remaining, 2000 feet remaining, etc...

Groundstop, As of now there's nothing to say otherwise in the RGG's (USAir talk). But there is hope that they will bring the E170s down here, at least for the summer, due to the CRJ's really bad payload restrictions... right now they can only take 38 (and that's on a GOOD day) out of here.... winter...

Actually there are only 4 or 5 open gates on the C concourse.

D concourse isn't even that large, and its all primarily downstairs... should probably be closed off as I don't think its used for anything at all..
