So do their 777s and most likely on other birds in their fleet. It seems to be a part of the JAL experience (or at least on domestic runs...I just flew JAL domestic two days ago) to offer the departure and landing view.

You can see the marshalers for Menzies in Seattle dance all the time...right under Gate C10/C12, they've got a table, a few chairs, and a boom box and they're just down there, dancing the day away while planes taxi in by themselves (I've seen this before).
