I think one thing people need to realize is that airports are extremely expensive to run. You need ATC, TSA, Check-in staff, concessions staff, gate agents, ground staff, etc even if there is only 1-2 flights departing at a time. Bigger airports just have so much economics of scale. I don't see NK leaving ACY altogether.. there is obviously a market there especially going to FL (NK has been running 3-4x daily MCO flights for a while now). However, if they did leave - I could see AAY jumping in with flights to SFB, PIE, PGD, FLL and possibly seasonal MYR. Anything outside of FL ...
