I'm not sure if this is old news or not, but, it appears that the new locks in the Panama Canal are open/will open soon as RCCL is sending the Explorer of the Seas to Alaska next summer along with the Celebrity Solstice. I believe both will operate round trip Inside passage cruises from Seattle.

Mom and I are coming off of a Baltic Cruise in August and due to a flight schedule change we'll have an extra day to enjoy Copenhagen.
