Back in 1987 I flew from SFO to Maui via United Airlines and thinking back on that flight I seem to recall that the aircraft made a left downwind to runway 02 but I am not 100% on that. Surprised that AA has dropped Panama City; does this create an opportunity for COPA to serve DFW? A number of years ago AA flew 2 daily on some days of the week DFW - Sao Paulo...

Why did the customer have to have his phone out recording this interaction? As a side note, last year an American Airlines customer service person was caught on film flipping off a customer. After an investigation, AA terminated her employment with the company.

Hello, I purchased for FSX the DC-10 add on and have mastered flying the aircraft except for one thing...I can not figure out how to get the ILS to activate when landing the aircraft. ANC is known for its round-the-clock freight operations but in the summer Alaska Airlines and Delta Airlines run 24 hours a day between Seattle and ANC. I was at ANC in May, 2016 and the Alaskan Airlines lounge stayed open until 100 AM.

I was just in FlightAware looking at MIA and I noticed that was an Air Transat flight passing overhead from YYZ to Santa Clara, Cuba. Miami, Florida might be close to what the OP is asking...I spot there once a month and there have been times where I have seen more cargo planes landing and taking off (during the day) then passenger planes.

If you want to see some weird middle of the night flights, find an OAG from the early 70's. There were dozens of flights between midnight and say 4:00 a.m., and not just from large cities. DL and EA seemed to have the most. Many of these sorts of schedules still exist in foreign countries. Airlines...

72 hours would probably be more than enough though. If you need to stay up longer, I dare say there is no "World" to come back to at that point. If there where to be a all-out nuclear strike, chances are you wont have access to aerial refuelers anyway. They will be among the first targets...

Perhaps a reason why meal service was re-introduced is to encourage customers to take the non-stop flight (higher fare) from DFW rather than going through LAX and then on to the Islands.

Just speculation on my part.

I read (can't recall where) last year that DFW airport was having issues with the homeless who were riding DART to the Airport and then hanging out around the station and terminal areas. Has this issue been addressed by DFW and DART authorities?

What's interesting is that FLL is considered the "secondary" airport to MIA but is ranked 19, ahead of many "main" airports in the United States. Plus its international numbers are strong too.

B6's got quite the operation at FLL nowadays - I checked the schedules for a Friday in late February and they are up to ~105 daily departures. WN adds another ~85, NK has ~65, and in total FLL has 400+ scheduled daily departures this winter! Some nice widebody action too - there are 8 763 departure...

I think at least one of AA, FI, or WW will drop DFW-KEF after the summer. Three airlines seems like massive overkill for that route. I'm not sure EI has any spare widebodies at the moment...
