Re: Irish 6/21: Sunshine after the rain

Nothing much more to add here. Really sad to see them go. I have flown on their ATRs the last 3 times I've flown home from MAN to BHD. Really nice aircraft to fly on and always a nice crew. I flew with them last weekend and both flights were pretty much full.

Not sure we will reach that 13m by then, but lets be positive. I'm in Manchester. Cases rising, but maybe not quite a rapidly yet. I think we need to really remember that a vaccine is aimed at reducing severe illness in people. It will not reduce transmission on its own. People seem to be under the ...

I flew with Aer Lingus Regional from MAN to BHD, and returned yesterday. 30 on the outbound, about 12 on the inbound last night. Great service, friendly staff. First flight on an ATR. I'm 6ft 1" and the leg room was great. BHD was fairly busy last night, struggled for a socially spaced seat for...

I always thought the E170/75/90/95 looked out of proportion wing wise.

The comment about winglets not being the best way to achieve an efficient wing is interesting. If that was the case, wouldn't the 737 MAX et al not adopt raked wingtips like the 777/787? Perhaps it comes down to cost?

Very minor adjustments if I'm honest. When it comes to colours it's more colour balance than adjusting saturation. Some of the rejections were at ISO100 and very minimal editing.

Personally, I couldn't bring myself to go to the aiport/airshow without my camera. Just in case I miss something, a surprise visitor for example. Generally I take the shots I want, then watch, or keep the camera on it until it pretty much comes to a stop and/or out of sight.

Karl, I'd imagine you'd experience loss in image quality with a 3rd party adapter.

If you have any photos from the new set-up, I'd be interested in seeing them.

I usually avoid shooting through fences, for fear of scuffing my hood and/or lens body.
