Vickers VC-10 G-ARVC of BOAC, leased to Nigerian Airways in the summer of 1966 - flew Kano - Barcelona, to escape Nigeria as expats during civil unrest.
This airframe became RAF VC-10 tanker ZA144, eventual fate - scrapped early 2000's, but I believe the cockpit section survives as a trainer.

The first video must actually have been shot on two seperate occasions, as the first couple of shots are of the ill fated 727 G-BDAN - which dates the video to before it crashed in 1980. The remainder of the video features G-BCDA.

Agreed - in the UK we're probably not as 'metricized' as the rest of Europe. I still think of runway lengths primarily in feet, and have to mentally convert to metres.

Turn signals that flash a minimum of 3 times+ when the stalk is momentarily pressed. One of the actually useful features for Highway lane changes. Not if you have to change your mind about the lane change. Perhaps if you could cancel it by flipping the stalk the other way momentarily I could see it...

Related to the CVR issue, and not judging the crew in any way - does the 'sterile cockpit below 10K' rule apply whilst on the ground taxiing?
