Peter, where was the picture taken? If it was taken near the airport as mentioned, then for sure it is not fuel dumping. As far as I know, the designated area near Vienna for fuel dumping would be the "Marchfeld".

As much as I personally like the PA28, I would suggest you to start on the C172.

The reasons:

- Cheaper
- Larger operating envelope (low stall speed)
- More comfortable to climb in and our (two doors)
- Better ground view

What Headset Should I Buy?

I have tried the following: David Clark, Sigtronics, Lightspeed, PilotUSA, Peltor. For me the DC is by far the best. I now own the 10-13.4, and I simply love it.

Kay - Flying VFR in Austria is easy and popular. Just be careful in the mountains (because if the weather), and near the airports, especially Vienna, LOWW, (because of the airspace structure). Other than that there is lot of G and E airspace where you can goof around. You can use English on every AT...
