SEA needs to build that north terminal like yesterday!!!
Jump to postDL at A and B in SEA doesn't seem to make alot sense. A only has two W/B capable gates and B has two as well. A would have to shrink from 14 gates to 11 or 12?
Jump to postPeople keep asking when this will happen, but why would anyone WANT to fly LHR-SYD non-stop? Especially Economy pax. Wouldn't people prefer to stop off for an hour or two to stretch their legs? 22 hours or whatver non-stop sounds like a horrible experience. Could not agree more. Who cares what class...
Jump to postI'm pretty sure I was abducted by a NOT-OF-THIS-WORLD space craft on my last flight to Indy. Or was it the Jack?
Jump to postGiven the stated range of the CS300 I'm wondering if this would be a viable A/C option from the west coast to Hawaii? Serve some smaller cities (SNA,BUR,EUG,SMF etc) Maybe not on a daily basis at first but I think the comfort level is there and it has the ability. I would take a seat at 18 or 19 inc...
Jump to postI'm surprised with the 319. Looking at the summer schedule out of SEA the 319 is a mainline odd-ball.
Jump to postMy .5 Cents.........Ill go with RNO, BUR, MCI, STL, IAH.
Kinda get the feeling these are E75 adds so these make sense.
Anyone know what the C100's will be configured at? I'm guessing 100-110 three class?
 Great post, very interesting to see the growth and how the SEA hub is shaping up! Thanks it was fun to do. I understand I missed a few but that is why I picked a Thursday and stated I'd miss some. I guess the one thing I may research next is the available number of seats. Yes AS still has...

Jump to postWhere are all the aircraft coming from? They added service to Denver as well.
Jump to postIm sorry.....IMHO SEA has bigger fish the fry than EK. The DL AS battle is forefront!!!
Jump to postFor a dummy booking SEA-EUG RT next June, DL and AS have the same coach fare at $242. Difference for now is DL has Comfort+ for $262 and $320 in first. We'll see if Alaska changes the Q400 equipment. What's also interesting is we're missing a few DL trolls with "the sky is falling" endles...
Jump to post"Refused" to do any type of service? They were following Delta's parameters--beverage service is only offered in coach on flights more than 250 miles. 250 miles is over an hour. If they can't get a beverage service out on a 40-45 minute flight, they should probably get out of the business...

I would add RNO. 20+ gates with room to grow for currently around 50 flights a day.

Jump to postNot working for the airlines and with the 777LR/788/789/350 about to take on the ULH flights from the 744 etc.....who will make more? A 380 pilot over say a 777LR pilot. Or in the US a 788/789/787-10/350 over a 77W pilot. Or does size no longer matter?

The 330 tanker seems logical.

Jump to postWould of been something to see. The 744 is almost as big as the terminal......heck maybe bigger. Wonder if a jetway was used?
Jump to postI looked but could only find general answers. A and B are AS.
Are the B gates jet ways used?
Are all A gates -400 stands?
What airlines have what gates in C,D, and E?
How many W/B gates? Which ones?
Thanks
As a side note......to SEA spotters.......Burien transit center......5th floor parking garage. Pretty sweet!!!
Jump to postNot that this a determining factor in any way shape or form........compass 70/75 lifting off from 16L after maybe a 4000ft roll cant mean heavy. Then again .......I saw many QX -400's lift off just south of cargo ops and break left.....so who knows.
