Only reason is because Lebanon has not signed The opens skies agreement with the EU. Jordan Israel Morroco to name a few have.. One needs to be 30 min in advance at GVA if one has already checked in..
LIN is easy as well..
Trains can be expensive, and the schedule is not ideal.. LIN was not served from GVA. AZ used to serve GVA from MXP before moving its hub to FCO.

That makes sense then. They can’t feed on their end with arrival past 8pm to BEY they miss connections to most of their flights in the near east.. and departure at 9 am to MAD too early to benefit from their morning bank of near east flight arrivals into BEY
