Re: deicing questions

Anecdotally, it seems as though in decades past, the fuselage was targeted, whereas recently, it seems only the airfoil was targeted. Perhaps this is just coincidental (more judicious use of fluid). do the de-icing operators have any specific training? More often than not, this takes place in dark,...

Re: American Pilots Say 'What About Us?' After Delta Pays Out $1.1 Billion In Profit Sharing

Something to consider is the number of employees eligible for profit sharing. Do DGS employees receive anything, because non-management that work for all of AAG's subsidiaries (Envoy, Piedmont, PSA) do. The pilots receive less compared to DL because there is a much larger pool of employees to distri...

I know there are two formulas, two different colors, one lasting longer than the other. My questions are 1. How hot is the fluid when sprayed onto the aircraft? 2. If my memory serves me correctly, they have H15, K7, K12, K13, K15, K16, and K19. K9 used to be a widebody gate, but I remember hearing that they made it a narrowbody gate so that K13 and K15 could be expanded to handle 787s/777s rather than just 767s. I know H15 can take an A330, but I'm not sure ...
