There are more Chinese carriers operating way more flights and destination to US then number of flight US carriers operates into China.

Chinese airlines has way more capacity so CAAC won't do anything just scream on press. Because chinese can't win this war nor on trade war either.

I feel like UA would change it if it really came down to it, as they have 9 scheduled flights to PEK today, not including the other 6 flights scheduled to CTU and PVG today. I can't imagine they'd risk today's 15 scheduled flights to keep the 4 scheduled flights (for today, at least) to HKG and TPE...

Having just ate cold Japanese Appetizer on UA838 this monday, I still have 0 hope that UA services will be on part with foreign carriers.

BTW, i think Amy Fine who actually got into fight on Delta flight never got public banned from Delta.

I would think an actual fight present a more serious risk for passenger than verbal abuse (neither one is tolerable). But clearly there is double standard here.

I have seen a lot worse on Delta flights. I would only applaud this decision if others are banned for life time. In reality, this is a politically correct response but not the right response. If everyone uses "political correctness" to mean "something I do not like" then it lose...
