Re: United Fleet Upgrade Status - 2018

According to Ontario, California airport, United Airlines will be serving the Ontario, California - San Francisco market, not United Express. Unfortunately, that's not accurate. UA has operated SFO-ONT with up to 9 CRJ-200s on a daily basis. Beginning this month, they've added two mainline flights ...

Thank you.

Isn't ONT the largest market (from SFO) with all CRJ-200 service with 9 frequencies a day?

Curious what other domestic markets with that level of frequencies is 100% served by 50-seaters. What says the hive?

RE: UA Flight Schedule Change-options?

If you purchased a refundable F fare, then there shouldn't be an issue changing to a different flight. If you are on a more restricted nonrefundable F fare, then suggest calling and presenting your case. Generally, I've found UA reservations very acco...

In checking united.com, it appears that <acronym title="Los Angeles - International (LAX / KLAX), USA - Californ...

UA Computer Problems On February 18, 2014

Well, there were significant costs for ditching Apollo and the long-stalled migration to the Amadeus Altéa system. The opt out of that contract cost $75 million. There have been major strides forward since the transition to SHARES nearly two years ago, but the hiccups and steps necesasry to complete...

UA MileagePlus Profile Change

When booking a ticket earlier this month on the United Airlines app, I noticed that my birthdate was no longer reflected correctly in my MileagePlus profile (I was now 2 days older; imagine the horror). I thought this was perhaps a glitch in the app, but a review of my profile accessed via a desktop...

RE: UA Call Centers Now In India?

As a PMUA flyer since the early 90s, I find little difference in proficiency between the Delhi and Houston (PMCO) call centers.

Give me Honolulu on any given day, those folks are consistency the top of the mark.

UA Drops Fare Codes From United.com

In the past week, United has removed fare codes from the booking engine on United.com. sUA's former platform displayed codes (if your profile was in Expert mode) and the new website, following the March 2012 transition, displayed the codes via a hyperlink in the flight display when booking flights o...
