Hello!

Does anybody know what is the fate of Sabiha Gocken airport of Istanbul.

Why was it built? I can't see many airlines operating there.
What is to become of it if there is no traffic?

Hm, I think that in Jugoslavia, now Srbia i Crna Gora (Serbia and Montenegro), slAvic was always translated slOvenski and not slAvenski. Someone mentioned a part of Croatia and this is SlAvonija. Those little things called TCAS are strange devices. They don't always act right. I remember reading a incident report that involved two TCAS equiped aircrafts, an Air Canada A330 and LH A340. I don't remember the situation so well but I remember that one aircraft was flying 2000 feet below another....

I like that aircraft. I think that every such paint scheme is something special and there are always two bases of people. Those who love it and those who hate it.

In Europe it is much easier to get a flight in a jump seat as in the US. I think that we should wait another year or so and flying on jump seats will be again possible, like pre Sept. 11.

I did the same sort of landing. It was funny because it was already night and during the turn I was able to see the lights on the runway we were supposed to land at. It was a funny experience.

Why FRA doesn't have simultaneous landings. Runways 28 L and R at SFO are also very close to each other and they have simultaneous TO/LDG.

I think Osaka Kansai also have it and also NRT will have it soon.

I think thay have various registrations because they mostly lease aircraft. I remember the case when they leased few Lufthansa's A319s. That aircrafts also had German registration.
