As a pilot, once you are off (and not commuting and not on reserve) you don’t have to answer any emails or phone calls when you’re not on duty or on your days off if you don’t want to… Don’t think that is possible as an engineer. Looks more likely that Maintenance personnell observed Lightening strike indications on the Exterior during their Walkaround and after confirming same informed the Flight crew. the lightning strike inspection is a complete inch by inch inspection of the airframe which takes 4-6 mechanics 3-4 hours ...

One is reinforced with carbon fibres and the other reinforced with glass fibres… CFRP has historically been more expensive (I’m not sure of the current situation with automated manufacturing tech) but is also lighter. One major difference is that GFRP is electrically insulative, whereas CFRP is not...

Heard there is a deal being worked out and the existing govt will step down and hand over power to Taliban.

Next would be the creation of Greater Phustostan eliminating the Durand line.
