For window shots, try to get a flexible rubber lens hood. When you press the lens and the hood against tthe window, that will help reduce reflections. Let's hope this is a one off which is not too serious. I'm sure the Airport authorities are more than capable of doing a good repair.

Those seats featured above look very similar to the SQ Spacebeds, which means that they should be pretty comfortable!

United's Business is comfortable, but not top notch. But I assume they can't justify spending huge amounts on new seats at this time??

Chris, you don't need a tripod for night shots from within the terminal. In fact a tripod won't work. what you have to do is to rest the lens flat on the glass, then take a photo using a longish (1 or 2 second) exposure. It always works for me when using my DSLR.
