Does Saudia have *DL codes on their flights? I’ve always thought that saudia is a weaker Delta partner, but maybe they are Delta’s path to Pakistan?
On the other hand, it isn’t like Islamabad and Lahore have all that’s much demand to the US, so Delta May not really need Pakistani travel.

New livery is coming. It will be revealed Feb 28. I saw a blurred image of the new livery on a 737. Looks like there will be more teal back fuselage / tail like QANTAS. Sorry can’t share the image. A Feb 28th unveiling makes sense as that is the airline’s de facto anniversary 3 out of every 4 years...

How good is their standing relationship with United? They’ve talked about leaving UA for the AA/IAG/AY JV, but if they still have strong United connections they'd be able to connect to lots of places on the west coast. If LX likes them, I could see the LH Group taking on more, whether that means exercising their options or buying even more. Amost all 772ER (47) are from 1999-2001. I can't see the age of the (US) A330 fleet (24) but it must be at least as old. For the latter the 787-9/-10 is the perfect replacement, for the -300ER no replacemnt is need for some time, they are young. For the longer flights the A350-900/1000 seems a good...

I imagine we'll see more CLT-midwest growth as I think those routes have done very well. I'd really like to see more ORD-Europe return to year-round service...

1) BA’s presence is not needed to due to AA and their JV. 2) Most of BA’s aircraft are too premium heavy for CLT, AA’s exUS A330s are better suited for the market. Darn I was hoping to see a 777 or 747 coming to CLT. Oh well... I'll continue to dream.. I wouldn't be surprised to see AA switch to 77...

Good. I’ve never taken advantage of this specific agreeement, as the only flight I’ve ever had cancelled was a DFW-CLT in 09 on USAir. They booked me on a slightly earlier AA flight, no harm, no foul IMO. If this helps incidents pass like that one almost nine years ago, I’m all for it

Seems like this entire thing should’ve happened around the visible merger period. When will things like frequent flier programs and agreements Be unified? On aa.com and alaskaair.com they are still two different airlines.

It was GRU-JFK-YYZ, operated by LATAM Brazil. I believe that route was a left over from the TAM days. When the Chileans disembarked, the route was promptly cancelled.
