Possibly more hiccups returning to service? N660UA had gone tech the night before and so was already in LIM...
Jump to postHas anyone seen these adds of IAD-MKE? This route hasn't been served since the COVID cuts to my knowledge, and now there are 12 departures scheduled for July. Is there some sort of event in MKE during that week of July? All on E175 aircraft. 2x IAD-MKE on July 13 4x IAD-MKE on July 14 2x IAD-MKE on ...

Jump to postDoes anyone know when the CRJ-900s are due to exit the express fleet? I’m tired of having to fly on them and long for the return of the E175 or mainline on my weekly ELP-DEN run. They will likely be around through 2024, but the DEN CR9 base looks to be ending by June. In fact ELP-DEN goes to the E1...
Jump to postSeems like a flight to IAD would be more useful for SBN. Aside from ORD there is no other UA service to it. And there is no nonstop to any airline hub in the northeast. Closest you get is DTW. UA doesn’t even have service to markets like GRR or MKE from IAD. It seems that the regional feed in IAD i...

Commute air has already announced they will be closing down operations in Denver and it looks like Mesa may not be far behind. I cannot find any Mesa CR9 flights from DEN after 5/22/24.

With Regional payrates so elevated, less diversity on fleets, etc, this MAX grounding is another example to me where every aircraft flown should be mainline with crosstraining. No reason an experienced cross-type trained pilot could not be moved over to some of these sitting E-175 birds and E-145’s...

Will Boeing (7315 or 7324?) or Airbus (14503 or 14505?) sneak any future deliveries in the last few days of 2023?
thank GOD the flight attendants didn't do their own evacuation, as suggested here. We might have had a few casualties. 2 Running CFM 56 engines don't handle large pieces of rubber, suitcases, and humans very well.... in front OR behind them. SNA might be one of the worst fields to do an evacuation ...

Jump to postAlso, is it a total of 5 jumpseats on the airplane? For 200 seats, that is the minimum crew complement, so no extra j/s for commuting crew? Jump to postI just noticed that GRR got an international diversion from Canada last night. Porters flight from YTZ to MDW diverted here due what I assume were the storms in Chicago. Jump to postThat is what Northwest did with DC-9's made in the 1960's, update the interior and slap some paint in them. But the day of reckoning came and they had to be replaced. Jump to postxJonNYC is reporting that the A321neo (non-XLR) deliveries have been delayed from this spring until later. However, I didn't think that we were expecting deliveries that soon? Jump to postDoes UA just buy the E175s and operate them at mainline, or it just buys Mesa? Buying Mesa seems like buying a basket of stuff that might not be necessary.
