The tunnels will remain. The T6/T7 connector was built on the roof of the building between the two piers. The T4/T5 connector will be built on the backside of the new T4.5 building. Most customers don't know the age of the aircraft. Last year, I was walking on a DL 752 and the people in the seats behind me were commenting on how this was a new plane. The plane was 19 or 20 years old at the time.

Honest question here, but why did JetBlue agree to the consent decree? After the FIS was shot down, couldn't B6 have just not agreed to the additional fines and forced the city's hand ?

Also, TBIT isn't going to have the check-in counter space for all of these airlines that appear to be moving from T5 to MSC when it opens and AA takes over T5, so T1.5 includes some leaseable ticket counters in addition to the ones that WN has committed to.

Interesting that DL would have wanted the slots. Were they going to add service somewhere (SEA/LAS/MSP), or just go to 5x to SLC? They can easily get commuter slots and just run CRJ7's to SLC now, and use their 4 slots for something else. And how long is WN considered "new"? Is it one year...
