not only that but with the wingtips up the aircraft can't go faster than 60 knots Was it ever made public if stuck up wingtips could be waived for flight? According to the A350 production/delivery thread, SK's first A350 has left the paint hangar. Are there any pictures?
Jump to postI noticed that unlike the new Lufthansa livery, the blue extends down onto the fuselage in a curved (not straight) line – that's a nice touch in my opinion.
I also suspect the livery will look less grey and more white in real life.
I like the renderings. I hope the engines look as metallic and the fuselage as grey in real life – not very eurowhite at all. SAS's new livery beats Lufthansa's by far!

The Nordic countries are, Denmark (including Farör and Greenland) Finland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden.
http://www.boldscandinavia.com/work/sas/ This is the firm that SAS used for their brand refresh last year, Bold. The same company designed the 70th anniversary livery. It is unlikely that SAS would sign a contract with a new firm after the successful brand refresh last year, so I'm inclined to think...

She's mentally ill and has some sort of delusion that's associated with this flight. There's no greater meaning than that. Everyone putting these feel good ideas (with zero proof ...

Jump to postMajor improvement! The tail, blue belly and – let us not forget – grey engines of the previous livery were such a cheap mess. This on the other hand looks very sleek and better accentuates the checkerboard.

ARN: The only two airlines that operated them in the 21st century were TG and MH. The latter cancelled its KUL–ARN–EWR route in 2009 and Thai replaced its 744s with 77Ws a few years later.

I used to fly the 717 frequently with Blue1 (I think theirs are with Delta now?) and I never noticed the bleed-air noise you're describing. I hope you give it another chance, it's a great aircraft.

Wow. This makes total sense! And although it will be sad to see the another airline go, SQ is a stunning brand and I don't mind seeing even more aircraft wearing its colours here in Singapore.
Jump to postI miss BA's Landor livery the most. Arrogant to some but only elegant to me.
Jump to postI've only flown with UA once, in Business. All drinks were served in plastic cups. Personally I don't mind, but I can imagine other business travellers would. It was kind of odd. Maybe they should change that before they change what's in them.
Jump to postThey seem to have painted the wings all white, just like LH did with its new livery. Elegant, if you ask me; the livery looks complete.
Jump to postI reckon they're changing it for the sake of changing it. Pity, I liked their livery. It was very elegant.
Jump to postI'm throwing shade at Lufthansa for doing this. A darker shade. They better catch it and apply it back!
Elegance was lost with this change. This queen looks cheap.

I thought they decided to drop ”myAustrian” altogether! I'm horrified to see it alive and well on the website…
Jump to postThere is an obsession with mergers on a.net. Mergers cut down on competition. This only looks cheap to me, but I suppose that's the intention (as with Eurowings).
Jump to postIn the early 1990s Air France tested a revised livery that featured a grey cheatline and bottom of the fuselage. It was only used on three aircraft (a 744, a 732, and a 762 IIRC) before being dropped.
I personally think the new livery looks much better than any of the home-made Photoshop renderings in this thread. That being said, I'm not sure if I prefer the new livery over the old one.

The angle of the blue shade shift makes me anxious it's going to look just like the new liveries of Alaska/Iberia/Thai/Malta, where the only colour on the fuselage stretches down from the tail. God I hope the dark belly stays!
