I am wondering if any progress has been made on getting our photos back on MyAviation.net? I know I've asked before but really wish I could get my photos back. Even if I could just download the images from online I'd be happy. I'm not optimistic but I can still hope it comes back. Jason "Gulfst...

ONA (Overseas National Airways) question - Aircraft ID

In December 1972, my family (before I arrived into this world) traveled from JFK to FRA via O.N.A. when my dad got his USAF orders for Germany. My question is what type of aircraft more than likely would they have flown on? I was looking but my dad wasn't sure. I told him it was probably a DC-8 but ...

Pacific Southwest Airlines equipment type in 1977/78

I have a friend who remembers that one of their first flights was in a PSA aircraft but isn't sure what type of plane it was. They said it was in the late 70s (77-78) and they remember the seating was 3 and 3. They flew from LAX-JSC. Would that route possibly been a 727 or maybe a 737-200? Thanks! J...

Pan Am flight logs in 1977

This is a long shot but I'll ask. In 1977, I took my first flight and it was on a Pan Am 747 (not sure if it was a 741 or 742). I can probably find the date I took it with a little deeper research at my grandma's house but I was wondering where I could search through Pan Am flights during the 1977 y...

My first flight ever was on a Pan Am 747 in March 1977 from FRA to JFK. I'm going to look for a model of one from that time period. I have no way of finding out the tail number or flight number. "Eyebrow" Windows. What Was Their Function?

Now that the newer planes are getting away from them, I kinda always wondered for what reason these eyebrow windows were designed. Did airline pilots really need to look above them that often?
