GLO selling, DL buying GLO ? What is there to sell or buy really? It was a brand and not a really strong one, except it did have non-stop going for it and yes it did redevelop some markets. Silver/3M needs to step up quickly (hopeful!) :)

So ... further investigation sheds this light: Looking at their lowest fare calendar for flights on 01May in the SHV MSY, LIT MSY and MEM MSY markets - the lowest fare calendar shows fares for all days of the month. NO flights in May in any of those markets. So something is up. Does not look good.

AA finally added the nonstop option with miles, it was about 110k miles and a whopping $1100+ in taxes and airline imposed charges for a J ticket yesterday on the nonstop, booked as BA. RIDICULOUS

Been that way for at least a few years. Haven't ridden them since 2003, wasn't aware. :( Use a travel agent and get it for free. ...but pay a travel agent fee? What'd be the point? An agents fee is less than what BA wants to charge you for advice and service. Not every travel agent has access.

There is an Aviation Board Meeting tomorrow 20Oct-Thursday - a regular monthly meeting @ 1000a - so there is a gathering. Today with all the fire and rescue emergency preparedness - I doubt anything would take place with 'smoke and plums' in the background. :)
