4wd is always better in the snow, although I've heard that the quattro can cause you lots of problems after using it for a while... If you open a topic the problem doesn't occur, even if you open the Word Association thing in Non-Av, which has about 640 replies and therefore is big enough, it doesn't take as long to display it as the forum indexes...
