LAX-ANC-ORD-LAX On AS (F)/AA (Y)

I recently had to tie up some loose ends left from my former job, and headed on a quick business trip to Anchorage and Chicago. I do live in the Bay Area, but I've been staying in LA recently to keep my mother company during her final days. I redeemed 10,000 Alaska miles to upgrade from Y to F on bo...

Domestic: American Airlines, due to the extra legroom and adjustable headrests. The flight attendants are great, although the food is highly variable. Alaska doesn't have quite as much legroom as AA, but the seats are also comfortable (and new ones have headrests), and the catering is better. I woul...

One has to ask, just what exactly were they doing re-fueling in Yemen? Re-fueling at port is cheaper, but if they didn't want to do it at sea, I wonder if they could have gone to Bahrain instead?

God bless those who perished or were injured, and my prayers go out to their families.

Routes between SE Alaska and Seattle, Seattle and Anchorage, as well as intra-Alaska routes bring in a lot of money for AS.
