What an amazing report! I've been on airliners.net for over a decade and this is by far the most detailed, engaging, and unique trip report I've ever read. It really makes those trip reports in various premium cabins on the A380's and 787's of the world look bland and boring. Great job!

The W Foshay is a really stunning hotel. I stayed there for business a few weeks ago and had a great time. A lot of history, and yes, the observation deck is open and now houses a museum dedicated to the history of the Foshay. They run specials here and there for around $119/night - not bad for one ...

I'm not sure if other carriers do this, but as a Northwest non-rev, it's great to be able to open the Northwest iPhone site and see where I am on the waitlist for a flight when flying standby. I can also check-in (verify my listing), or cancel my listing on the iPhone site if my travel plans change.
