I flew C-GARG years back. And did not even realise it was an A319 until now.
WOW. Just wow. RTFM. Also read the Lehman article. You have NO idea what you are talking about and are looking to grind an axe. This is one of the worst posts I have ever read on this forum. Your own post isn't self consistent. You claim Boeing is cryptic... they are not... at all. You claim to wan...Jump to post

Business, Premium+, Economy+ and Economy. Are the Economy+ seats just having more pitch than regular Y. I wish more airlines have this. Wow. What an amazing airport and those new uniforms are really nice. Really brings out the red in Turkish Airlines. As much as I like the Turkish Livery, new colours and a logo are in order to compliment the new airport and uniforms. A future TK trip report will happen when the time is right Enjoyed...Jump to post
I can not see New IST on FR24 yet, anybody knows when it is going to be added or is it too early? Sorry if it was mentioned before. You have to search it as ISL. ISL is there in the list of airports, but there is no blue pin pointer to show the airport & its upcoming traffic movements ! It is t...Jump to post
Isn't there another thread covering S19 schedule for AC. routesonline says "Toronto – Mumbai eff 01MAY19 787-9 replaces 777-200LR, 4 weekly" Yes there is and that is why I posted this news in there. http://www.airliners.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=1405343 I saw it on airlineroute.ne...Jump to post

Lion Air began flying in 2000. As of yesterday before the crash, they had 115 aircraft in their fleet. Here is a list of their notable incidents. If we look through them, we can see that they have destroyed 8 aircraft in less than 20 years! The majority of their accidents are due to pilot error. Ja...Jump to post
It's possible someone uploaded a live video as it was happening, such as the case when someone uploads to Facebook live. The video that was streamed is then saved online. Uploading a video needs an internet connection. Lion Air is a low cost carrier. There are no WiFi service in its aircraft. At 15...Jump to post

Since this also includes Pilot conflict could we compare this with FlyDubai which had a verbal conflict in the cockpit. The flight I think also plummeted to the ground from a similar height.Jump to post
It is not always you get to see the red line on FR24. QF9 is currently cruising at near FL430. Departed 16:25 hours ago and 00:30 to go. What a great fix for a year to be on one of these flights lol https://farm2.staticflickr.com/1912/45545458691_0ec84e7645_b.jpg At the same time SQ21 is at FL410 an...Jump to post
I was on the inaugural LHR to PER and a couple of the cabin crew had never been to Australia! https://youtu.be/aUHyHk9UHgA Some crew on this flight are definitely native European language speakers in addition to Aussies. Isn't their new DEL flights dependant on traffic from the US. Or are people willing go fly North to Iceland within Europe to get to India. Nor sure how much traffic they will pick up from YYZ?Jump to post
My understanding is that even if the folding wingtip failed, it would have no affect on the airplane's ability to stay aloft, correct? The wing folds upwards only on the ground and would be unfolded before take off and inflight, correct. Is there a chance it may fold in flight, such as cargo doors ...Jump to post

Was an enjoyable read especially with the J Class ending with SQ. NZ looks good in Y. These reports take a lot of effort to put together for that.Jump to post

Truly hope the stay in YYZ. Wonderful airline. I had an Indian FA on board the flight from BRU-YYZ. And two Indian pax in close proximity to me, one being my neighbour. Poor guy did not have his special meal on board and survived on crackers (his own). However like me (Khi) they were probably connec...Jump to post

This thread was created with SQ and the future non-stop to YVR in mind :). Why does the EK issue come up all the time. Ugh!! They gone from 3 to 5 weekly. Hallelujah. Give it a rest. 250 babies surely an exaggeration lol. I have grown to become more tolerant of screaming babies. I mean they are babies right. Though many landing videos uploaded on YouTube mean they have to be muted due to screaming babies :(. I think an adult kicking the seat from behind is more annoying. I do li...Jump to post

No crash has impacted me more than SR 111. My family had flown recently on the SR MD-11s to North America about a year and a half earlier. There was a Swiss tennis player who was supposed to be on that flight.
Was just testing dates yesterday for a friend YYZ-DEL (it is actually 2 kids and 2 adults) and put in 3 adults and 1 kid and the total came to under $2400. And this too in Dec. Of course with additional bags it could be more. I see this route being popular if the price is right. Though they use an A...Jump to post
You sure you are not referring to the A380? Well, no... seeing as the 748i being rejected by the market neither absolves nor validates the A380 in any way.. It does. Why? What's the point of ordering something obsolete practically the moment it entered service? You sure you are not referring to the A380? Thanks to Emirates it survived. I know Saudia was a popular route people took to Pakistan. PIA can easily go to the 77W to make up for it. Not sure AC or any Canadian carrier would try though given the security concerns.
