You think the plane is going to stall but no...I saw a Extra 300 myself and that little plane has more <acronym title="America West Airlines (USA)">HP</acronym> than you can imagine. It can literally "hang" itself vertically with the right power settings But of course..kudos to the pilot skill ...

LGA gets pretty quiet after 12am and wakes up again around 5. Unless there's evening thunderstorm which pushes all the flights back (in this case the last flight is out at the latest 2am) or there are some very special charter (like we got <acronym title="Continental Airlines (USA)">CO</acronym> 752...

Fly2hmo I believe your experience is known as CAT or Clean Air Turbelence...it can happen to any clear cloudless day, and the turbelence is anywhere and very hard to forcast...
