RE: Varig Merger In Trouble

The point is that if VARIG comes to an end this will be the end of brazilian aviation. You will not see any brazilian flags in the skies. There is no way TAM will handle with all these flights, they will become gigantic and will just die, because there is no way that any other company could be profi...

That's interesting. I only knew that queen Christina of Sweden wanted to make Stockholm the "wet Venice of the North" and the "intelectual Paris of the North", which cost the death of Descartes.

RE: Varig Merger In Trouble

TAM can't wait for VARIG's bankrupt, and the mainly reason for that is no matter how bad are VARIG's finances their still have a huge polical influence. No way the government will inject a large amount of money on TAM. That is really non-sense but the government charge heavy taxes on tickets (that's...

Airmale, yeah that pronounce is right. IB6400, TAM is not Transportes Aéreos do Mercosur, TAM actually means nothing because today TAM has nothing to do with old Taxi Aéreo Marília which Cmte. The VCP operation as São Paulo main international airport were short, because before that the planes doing the international routes were smaller and could operate at CGH.
But anyway that is not a strong reason for Rio low traffic.
