Re: General discussion threads vs dedicated new topic thread

I agree the general discussion threads have degraded this forum. I used to get all of my airline news by logging into this site every day and reading over the posted topics. Now that everything gets buried I usually learn airline news from CNN or MSNBC or Fox or even freaking Buzzfeed before I read ...

Southwest to LIR - September 2022

I have a question about Southwest for anyone more well-versed with Southwest than me. A group of friends is trying to book flights to Liberia, Costa Rica (LIR) in September, and it looks like Southwest stops flying there after September 5th. I didn't see anything about this route being cut or being ...

We are in 2019, not 1959. Companies cannot side publicly with their employees, or they'll be flamed down by the social media "justice". Unless the airline reprimanded the employee (even if just a discussion), then it's their way to save face towards the public. It doesn’t matter their rea...

From twitter is appears a plane either blew it's tires or had a front landing gear collapse? Sounds like they might be evacuating using stairs. People are saying it's a UA 757.

If this were an adult he or she would have been removed from the flight immediately before take off or the flight would have been diverted to do so. Why should a child be treated any differently? So fire fighters and law enforcement were able to get on the plane, but the airline and the airport wasn't able to get the passengers off? Something just isn't adding up here. If you're able to get a cop onto and off of the plane, then there is no reason why you should be stranding passengers.
