It is up to the purser if they want to do a "live" demo or one from the video screens. Purser will decide which to do. Probably it was done "live" on your flight as the video model didnt show the countries language

BA should have jumped on the wagon years ago when airlines were just starting to pair up.
They could have had KLM, Swissair, Sabena to mention a few but they dithered too long and they let them go to other carriers. Iberia probably was the last "half" decent airline they could pair up with.

I think Aer Lingus will start it up and run the flights for a year or so and then dump them claiming they cant make money from them.
