No one in my office is happy with the higher density on the 772s to/from the mainland. First is 2-4-2 which is not much different width-wise - 19 vs 17.1 according to SeatGuru - and there are no complimentary upgrades any longer except for LAX and SFO. I collected 1/400s .. then moved to 1/200s .. so I have a lot of 1/400s to sell :-)
But - i use JetCollector (jetcollector.com) and DiecastAirplane (diecastairplane.com). You might also want to check out diecastaircraftforum.com .. lots of good stuff there .. \

It's a good question .. I'm thinking of getting rid of all my 1/400s - and some of my 1/200s - they just take up too much space. I don't think there's a which scale is more popular issue - it's more of a how much $$$ do you have to spend, how much space do you have, do you collect a specific airline...
