It has more to do with the seamless experience Delta wants there passengers to have. It has nothing to do with the quality of the regional. The republic carriers that operate for Delta aren't allowed to say their name either.

I've noticed that the skywest 900's aren't being painted like the 900's at other carriers. The entire tail is being painted, including the ram air inlet. Where on other carriers, the ram air inlet is white. It also seems that the blue on the bottom of the fuselage comes up a bit higher than the rest...

I'm not sure. I think the 6 that were scheduled to leave have already left. N934EV, N972EV, N975EV are currently with Expressjet. My guess is they've been painted but were never updated. N875AS, and N889AS are not currently with Expressjet.

722EV is the only non Horizon 700 that ASA has in the new colors. It's also the only 700 with wifi onboard.
