Hey guys sorry this is not on topic of current topics, last question about the Air New Zealand Regional flights, can I ask about the callsign/flight numbers; For ATC do they use Eg New Zealand 8300 or does it become New Zealand, looking at Flightradar24 thought it might be the later, if only liveatc...
Jump to postHi team,
Just a question about Air New Zealand regional ops, why did they decide to bring them all under the Air New Zealand, brand it must have made economic sense.
Was it logistically a big change or pretty much just changing airline codes to NZ and callsigns to New Zealand
Many thanks
Thanks classicjets it was so good to see it when I went past today wish my photo uploaded but great you were able to get some to put up

Hey Anutters....been reading on a quiet night about Mexican cargo carriers (always been fascinated by Mexican aviation since my first trip to LAX and seeing the Aero California DC-9s at the TBIT). Jump to postHorses are regularly flown between NZ and Australia using either the QF Freight 767 or the DHL 757/767. Contrary to belief you dont need to be a billionaire. Cost is about 5k to fly one across the Tasman. Flyirt.com can tell you more

Hi a.nutters,
Just looking at Intl flights out of WBKK for MAS, flights to Perth, Taiwan and Shanghai are direct at the moment yet February they all go via KL according to the Malaysia Airlines website. As these Intl flights seasonal for only a short time or am I missing something. Many thanks
Quick question re these new flights looking at the schedule, will the aircraft really sit on the ground in PHX on WED/SUN between 10.30 and 19.20 or fly a charter in between ?

I know go arounds are a pretty common occurence, and indeed an early part of pilot training. But with the Nor Wester howling out at CHC today EK412 went around on the first attempt. He got down to 550ft before deciding to go around, then made a righthand downwind leg right over the city. Would have ...
Jump to postThanks for all the replies team, can I ask one final thing is there a close tie up between DHL Air UK and EAT Leipzig. Jump to postHi a.netters, Saw the DHL 757 in the hangar at CHC last week and it got me thinking how big the DHL ops are. Im aware of their US tie up with ABX, Southern Air, Kalitta Air etc. But Europe has me more intrigued. DHL Air Uk operate largely from Leipzig by the looks of it. Their QY flights use the Eur...
