MSP-ATL today is 11 flights, all mainline, no RJs. This route varies wildly as to what aircraft they place on a particular flight number.
4/18: A321, 753, 752, MD90, 752, MD90, 752, 739, 753, 752, 752
I'm guessing other hubs to ATL are the same way.

WN has been able to fly beyond the WA restrictions, on DAL-MSP, for how long now? And they still haven’t made it a yet-round route. Something tells me there is a reason for that. WN has been able to fly beyond the WA restrictions, on DAL-MSP, for how long now? And they still haven’t made it a yet-round route. Something tells me there is a reason for that. Your analysis is nice, jplatts, but if WN won’t sustain LAS-MSP, I just can’t see them with much for DAL-MSP yet.

How is SY handling aircraft/crew rotations? With the old model bring MSP (and somewhat DFW) centric, crews and planes were used on turns and day trip missions. Correct. However, they are really only extending from Oct 1st through Nov 3rd. With that small of a window, not much "new" is expected. Maybe some frequency and possible seasonal route changes.

Anyone want to share any rumored routes?

Nothing new for MSP. 25 weekday departures in total. Loss of DAL Sunday service and a loss of one MDW flight. So, not counting DAL, MSP goes from 26 Summer weekday flights to 25 in Sept.

So far I see the following: WN 1x BOS-MSP DL has added or upguaged and will be flying 10x BOS-MSP, and 8x PHL-MSP AA added1x BOS-MSP. It's sold out and all but one of the (only?) 3 PHL-MSP are sold out UA adds 1x PHL-MSP and 1x BOS-MSP they've also added a 777 EWR-MSP All I can find for now WN also...

I believe the fleet is leased only. So, to Southwest, they would be more interested in eliminating a competitor at MSP. Unless, they can acquire the leases.

DL non-stop from MSP is over $1,000 RT. I would guess plenty would get in line for a 1-stop if WN had it priced lower.

OAK is a great first choice for WN out of MSP because it is not currently served non-stop by any other airline. Granted, you can fly to any other airport in the bay area.
