MSY has issued a notice that it is planning to add 5 gates. It sounds like this will be a mirror of concourse A, where one gate will be removed from C and a six gate concourse D will be built.

I think many of you are ignoring the obvious. As a shareholder, I believe F9s offer severely undervalued NK and I feared that F9s crazy dartboard wielding leadership would destroy the value of NK's network. I don't think B6 is a great match, but at least you get your money's worth.

Breeze has extended their schedule to Feb 14 and CAK, CMH, and ORF indeed resume in February. There's also a big bump around the holidays with some flights going daily for the weeks of Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's. MSY-JAX on Breeze is official now, Mon/Fri, starting May 27. Also seeing "Breezethru" being offered for MSY-RIC-BDL/PVD, so maybe testing those waters as well. Would like to have seen RSW added in this latest expansion, but didn't expect much given the summer lull here. Hopefully we'll see...

I hadn't seen this mentioned anywhere, but it looks like Silver is increasing JAX to 4 weekly (Sunday, Monday, Thursday, Friday) for April through July 4. I've seen rumors that Breeze may be announcing JAX soon, so maybe it's a preemptive add.

It really is a great facility from the passenger perspective. Indeed. Just wish they'd made it bigger. And wider (at least the corridor from TSA to the concourses). It appears to me that they are not too concerned with filling up the planes based on the fares I am seeing out of MSY. Most of the routes are not cheap considering they are mostly driving markets. I imagine they'd rather have fewer passengers to deal with while the kinks are worked out.

I've been seeing DL price match many BZ routes out of MSY with a stop in ATL - sub $100 roundtrips that are normally 300-400+. Their bread and butter these mid-sized cities around the Southeast, so it's no surprise.
