Looks as though MSN 231 might br the last A350 to leave TLS on Delivery in 2018. Seem to be doubts about all the other completed frames as a result of customer issues.

Airbus will deliver a record number of commercial aircraft in 2018.

They will be deemed to have failed by most commentators because they fall short of their target.

Engine supplier problems will be cited as the ‘excuse’.

The order book for the 787 has been shrinking for several years as deliveries exceed orders. The orderbook is still large at 656, so could decline further without causing problems. In fact a higher production rate and smaller orderbook would shorten delivery times and could help further sales.

The A350s have been delayed indefinitely. The current plan is to acquire more -300s (ceo, not neo) to replace the -200s. IAG apparently has four orders outstanding. Down the road, as the "DubHub" develops, they'll need to look at something bigger, but right now, the A330 is the right airc...

To clarify, the 10 77W and 15 A320neos are not new orders, nor have they ordered 5 more A350s. Kuwait has/will convert 5 of their current A350 order (out of 10) to 8 A338s.
