The Private Suite is a product that is available to the majority of airlines at LAX. Its simply a privately managed facility located on the airport perimeter with its own TSA and CBP inspections. iahcsr: I usually use FR24, and this is the second time the UA N number was used for the GYR ferry, then changed to the HA N number. Wierd. Interestingly, UA has actually registered N588HA and N592HA as United-owned tail numbers. They also still have holds on N686UA and N684UA. I suspect this is so...

Searching FAA N Number database, these numbers are reserved by UA (new order 789s?) N29975, N24976, N29977, N29978 Definitely yes. Any other numbers sequences reserved by UA? It did roll out on 5July. It’s one of 8 787s awaiting first flight in Charleston. Delivery not until Nov 1, so no doubt Boeing is in no rush.

Yes plane 360 is a go to plane for spare parts, but my friend who’s a manager at Mesa said that UA told them to order 1 to many planes. CALTECH, looking at the online 777 Production spreadsheet, it looks like 4 to 6 777 units per month are completed. Landed today on UA98 from LAX to MEL. Took off on Dec 30. Dec 31 was completely lost crossing the Dateline, and landed on Jan 1. Nothing special other than a few “Happy New Year” announcements from the captain and the FAs in J.

Also agree with Caltech. There are two A319 designations (which can be differentiated by lav layout, but which is designed to differentiate between engine types) but will only be one A320 designation.

I agree it's sad to see UA adding CR2s... Such a miserable aircraft! The ER4s are way better. Does anyone know how long the ER3s and DH2s will be sticking around? I thought the ER3s were going to be dumped long ago. The E35s will be leaving. 2 in exit prep now. I'd expect all 5 to be gone this Wint...

C5 should be ending the prop service out of EWR Nov 1. I'd guess a few will begin to leave just prior to then. The props will continue to operate routes out of IAD until Feb 2018.

All the remaining 789s will be delivered with the current 2-2-2 hard product used on the active 787s. The first 787-10 should come in late 2018 and will be the first delivered with the Polaris hard product.

Are you sure about this? I only ask because Halifax is where the Dash-8 fleet goes for maintenance. Over the past few months there has always been at least one Q200 there, usually for about 3 weeks at a time.

They are all 319s from China Southern. There were to be some from Spirit but that fell through. 8 so far including one in paint. 5 more expected to arrive in 2017 and 12 more in 2018. CommutAir's 300s will all be gone this year (lease returns). Although not announced yet by United, the entire Q200 fleet will leave in 2018. CommutAir is at that point supposed to be operating 40 ERJs for UAX out of EWR and IAD.

With the end of the quarter UA has updated its internal fleet plan for the rest of the year. Mainline plans are unchanged, however there are some changes to the UAX fleets.... I can 100% state that the 4 ex-Copa 73Gs were delivered/inducted with the standard seats and were slimlined along with in-seat power installation and new F seats over the past few weeks. UA.com still not updated but all 4 ex-Copa birds also have power in F/E+.

The 73G is starting to get the new F seats now. As far as I know there is no plan for the 738 and 739 fleets as of yet.

Skywest's CR2s belong to Skywest, so they won't be going anywhere unless they are sold. Unfortunately, it looks like this means a slew of additional CR2s in the UAX fleet. I'm not impressed!

38 E170s and 63 CR7s At this point, do all CR7s have signature seats and all E70s have generic grey seats? Generic grey is the E70 final cabin fitting, right? Correct, unless they later try a re-fitted interior, which I'd doubt. And yes there are a couple of the ex-AA E170s in Republic house livery...
