On old ELAL timetables the two types B-707/B720Bs are mixed up . Nethertheless i see some flights making two stops on the way to NYC , such as TLV ZRH LON NYC . Can some of you confirm the LY 720B flew NYC ?

If memory serves, it was GIG-EZE. GRU was not open for commercial traffic until 86 and then it was mostly regional flights within South America and domestic. Long haul flights started in the early 90s. I am not 100% sure, but I seem to remember that SR chartered one of the Brazilian airlines at the...

Please , stop A340 bashing . If it were so uneconomical why is this quad still flown ?
And Mr 707330 is quite right , WK plans to operate ZRH HNL . To cover such a distance the A340 is the right plane at the right time .
